Elmer Candy is a third-generation, family-owned, candy manufacturer that is nationally recognized for its seasonal chocolate confections. The Ponchatoula based company is the second largest heart box candy manufacturer in the country.
The Solution
Over 2,000 interior lights were replaced with LED bulbs throughout the facility. LEDs are brighter, use less energy and have a longer life expectancy. LEDs last two to four times longer than fluorescence lighting. LED lighting retrofits also typically improve overall lighting efficiency by up to 75%.
